Negotiation Training Programs Tailor Made for Your Organization’s Needs
We are obliged to deal with situations daily in which we are impacted by external forces over which we have limited control. Sudden changes of data and uncertainty can cause damage to relationships with employees, colleagues, management, clients and suppliers. The way we make decisions is critical nowadays. Reality often obliges us leave our comfort zones.
Negotiating under pressure necessitates a method for gathering and confirming data and adapting it to a given situation. We must be able to validate the conclusions we have reached and the decisions we have made. We are also required more and more often to think creatively with regard to obtaining up-to-date information about clients and employees in accordance with an issue, and selecting optimal modes of operation with an emphasis on their effects on “the day after.”
Shakla & Tariya believes that a negotiation training program should be customized for the needs and “bellyaches” of the organization, the unit and the people in it.
The Principles of the NBP Program
Tailor Made Completely customized content and delivery in accordance with the needs of the organization and the target audience. Shakla LAB Experiential learning in a safe space for acquiring practical and innovative methodologies by taking part in simulations and roleplaying with incidents from everyday life. KISSS Concept Keep it short, smart and simple. The KISSS concept stresses applications that are simple, precise and clear. Second Nature Personal support for assimilating the content and making it a habit.
AKA Model
Customizing is done by innovative approaches for addressing negotiation situations according to the AKA model – Awareness, Knowledge, Ability.
The combination of the three components –being aware, being skilled and feeling capable – will create the meaningful effect, both organizationally and personally, as the skills are assimilated and become second nature.
∙ Awareness
A variety of introductory presentations in the fields of knowledge related to negotiating and decision making, for expanding modes of operation and approach options for organizations and management. Exposure to these contents creates an awareness of alternative ways of acting in changing and complex situations and is the foundation on which the next levels can be built.
∙ Knowledge
Methodology workshops are tailor made for the needs of the client. The aim of the workshops is to train the organization by means of a process we call Shakla LAB, in which practice is experiential and in a safe “laboratory” space, where you are allowed to make mistakes, to fail, and to try again. Shakla LAB enables learning and
practicing, with state-of-the-art tools, along with assimilating them and turning them into second nature.
∙ Ability
Personal support for senior executives provided by negotiation specialists certified by Shakla & Tariya, who are called upon ad hoc and as needed by executives in real time for complex negotiation situations and decision making processes. The purpose of the advisory process is to practice and enhance the skills of executives in conducting themselves and their associates before, during and after a negotiation process.

Organizational need:
How should I position myself in this negotiation?

About the Presentors and Instructors in the NBP Program
The workshops are led by professionals who are graduates of the Shakla & Tariya academic program or who have assisted Atty. Michael Tsur for many years, and they deeply understand that “if you can do it, you can teach it.” What they all have in common is their genuine interest in others and their affinity for people. They are a diverse group, from Israel and from other countries, who professionally consult, guide and support individuals and organizations in complex processes of decision making, negotiation, transition and crisis.
Believing in the heterogeneous and in the power of difference, they include professionals in senior management, law, finance, technology, organizational consulting, wealth management, real estate, mediation, and more.
Organizations and individuals who completed the program reported:
- Improved performance in reaching goals while saving considerable resources both financial and emotional.
- Greater confidence in their capability to identify, manage and act in challenging situations.
- Strengthened relationships at work and at home.

In 2015 there was a seven-month negotiation course in the Strategic Account Division of Leumi Card which was meant to upgrade the capabilities of preparing for negotiations with customers, and to make the process more efficient. The program included individual support for sales managers and group sessions for practice and expanding the main contents.
The program concluded successfully and its benefits were evident in the course of the following years.

Atty. Michael Tsur, from Shakla & Tariya, has been providing support for our company’s operations for the last few years. He gave a number of presentations to professional factors in the company in all that relates to conducting negotiations and resolving conflicts. NTA was recently involved in a complex and complicated process that required sensitivity and determination in order to execute a national project. Michael and his staff were quickly recruited and assembled a strategic plan for us, customized, which included all the disciplines tactically relevant to the process and related to communication and emotion. At the end of the process, and with the personal support provided by Michael and the special staff of Shakla & Tariya, we completed the complex process successfully and to the satisfaction of all the parties.

The negotiation workshops at Shakla & Tariya are a basic, unique and essential tool for all personnel in the organization.
Although not every employee needs technical, marketing or financial skills – all employees need interpersonal skills. In the current reality, companies and their employees work under pressure especially in the hi-tech and start-up industries – and the vast majority of them have not been exposed to the methodologies of correct conduct on the interpersonal level. Most of us behave instinctively – intuitively, which causes organizational damage.
The skills acquired at the Shakla & Tariya workshops constitute an accurate response for this kind of management and spare all sections of the organization a lot of trouble, from managers and workers to suppliers and customers.
I highly recommend bringing your employees to workshops at Shakla & Tariya – to practice and apply.

Atty. Michael Tsur, from Shakla & Tariya, is a presenter and speaker who integrates academic knowledge, practical sense and human connection to the audience – in the best possible way. Participants don’t forget him or his words, and this is because Michael controls the manner and the content, in the process and in the outcome, humorously and seriously – and with precision.
We have been working together for many years, and Michael can adapt to any level or occupation.

Shakla & Tariya’s program is priceless. It completely transforms the mindset for everything related to interpersonal communication, provides tools and practical methodologies to apply in any complex interaction, and enables dealing with situations that seem to be irresolvable – and to leave all parties with a feeling of achievement and the ability to continue communicating effectively in the future.
For me, Shakla & Tariya is an amusement park of products that are appropriate for a wide range of populations within organizations, and they are presented by instructors and presenters of the highest order. I warmly recommend trying any of the diverse programs offered by Shakla & Tariya. They shift all of our paradigms.

Atty. Michael Tsur, from Shakla & Tariya, has been assisting me for the past twenty years in different aspects of crisis management and complex negotiations, in Israel and internationally. I also had the privilege of sharing my experience with other course participants at Shakla & Tariya. Michael, and the Shakla & Tariya curriculum, are the spearhead of negotiation studies for crisis conditions and in general. In his inimitable way, Michael’s creative thinking, systematic approach and professionalism lead to exceptional achievements. The ability of Michael and his staff to translate a wealth of experience into a relevant and interesting study program is extraordinary. Bravo and thank you, Shakla, for being there.

I got to know Shakla & Tariya and Michael when I was the Customer Service Manager at Oracle Israel, and I recognized the unique value of the Tsur Method, and of Michael personally, the first time he and I met. In addition to the instruction of the method, we had discussions about complex cases from everyday life and, with his guidance, we devised a sound method for win-win solutions. Even if the situation seems futile at the beginning of a negotiation, we part in a situation where the client continues to be a client of the company.

The program with Atty. Michael Tsur at Shakla & Tariya was excellent.
Michael is fascinating, transmits the messages intelligently and directly, and connects to true stories in a most interesting way. Participants did not take their eyes off him and were transfixed. There was also a very good atmosphere in the room, good fare and many insights about life in general and negotiation in particular.

I am pleased to take this opportunity to express personal thanks for the negotiation course that took place in Italy assisted by Ms. Maria Deledda.
During the course, we acquired negotiation skills and methods which were developed by Shakla & Tariya over the past two years to adapt to the ever-changing reality of challenges in the field of Law. Establishing our organization’s internal negotiation academy for attorneys is the result of this cooperation.
We are very pleased by the results of the training program and grateful for your contribution and continuous cooperation.
